Hello, Survivor Fans! “Glo” has been busy at work for 6 straight days, but she was still thinking about all of you. While I was heavy in thought, I was trying to think of what I wanted to say to all you fans out there in Survivor reality land. As you all know I am a tell it like it is writer. I state what I think and feel, and then I try to put it in words to keep all you fans happy. But tonight I must open my heart and tell all you fans how I feel.
I am hearing from Survivor fans all over the United States. Now the horizon has grown and I hear from fans In Africa, New Zealand, China, Phillipines, Australia, Great Britian and to many other places to even list. Because of all this attention you have given me, I want you all to know that I love you all, and I value all your comments and suggestions. I have tried to remain the same fun loving, and humorist writer that you all say you love. I have tried to write from the heart on serious subjects and I have tried to be fair in the game of life on the subject of Survor. I have held my own contests for Partners for reality TV and I have done everything I can to promote fans to help charities. I have been blessed to be on a charity event with former Survivor Contestants. My biggest blessing was given to me to be a writer at this website. Writing at this website opened the doors to many blessings that would not have happened had I not had this opportunity. I have been allowed to be the free spirit that I am and I have developed my own style and way of reaching reality fans out there in reality world. (more…)

My prediction for tonight, Steven’s going home.
by Joyla
Random thoughts on the hamsters:
Renny is going to stay longer than anyone thinks she will, they are going to keep on keeping her and all of a sudden they’ll realize that it’s too late. I think she might go all the way to final 3. I’m really liking her.
April and Ollie were at it again under the blanket last night. At least this time they were in bed, but good grief, Jerry was in the room! (more…)

Gloria Query Interviews “Chicken” Morris Who Was Contestant on Survivor China!

This is me, Good Ole Glo, standing underneath her Jungle Plant in her back yard. Many times I have looked at this picture and found myself dreaming, as I have for almost 9 years of possibly being chosen as a contestant on the Survivor Reality show. I have gone for the gusto with my dream, and have never given up trying. I now have 17 tryouts under my belt. But recently there has been a turn of events in my life. My number of tryouts and my zest to never give up has touched many people. As a matter of fact I have been surprised to find out that some Survivor contestants do know of me and my driven personality. Recently I had the pleasure to have doors opened to me by my persistence and drive to go after interviews with some of my favorite Survivor contestants. It seems as though my motto “Humor is Healer of all Sorrows” is about to come around full force. My humor has touched the heart of “Chicken” Morris a past contestant from Survivor China. So, fans stay tuned for humor city to cut loose in my interview with “Chicken” Morris. (more…)

So is this officially the earliest in the game that a couple has had sex in the house? April and Ollie were doing a lot more than cuddling under the blanket tonight!
The night crew camera guys didn’t give them any privacy, the camera kept panning up and down on the moving lump under the blanket, the heavy breathing was loud, you could hear one of them tearing open the condom package. I really have to wonder just what is going on behind the walls while it’s so obvious what they are filming… are they laughing or just quietly moving those cameras? I think they are probably laughing. I thought I was going to really like Big Brother this time… but I’m having a hard time getting into it. I don’t have a real favorite yet, I’m wavering on who I like. Seems like none of them really stand out yet. It’s early tho, sometimes it’s hard to really follow everyone when there are so many still in the game. Once they get rid of a couple more people, it always becomes much easier to get a grip on what’s really going on.
The alliances are driving me a bit crazy, you need a score card to keep up with them. So far, I think there’s one big alliance of Jessie, Memphis, Ollie, April, Keesha, Libra, Michelle. Inside that alliance there seems to be additional one between Libra, April and Ollie and they seem to be anti-Angie. There’s another one between Jessie, Memphis, Angie, and Michelle. Also, Michelle and Libra might have a secret alliance. The Jessie, Michelle, Memphis, Angie alliance are starting to dislike Angie and are considering adding Keesha and dumping Angie. Keesha and Renny might be talking game together, but not sure about that. Jerry wants to be in an alliance but hasn’t figured out how to do that yet. Are you confused yet?… (more…)

Written by Gloria Query, “Glo” gloriasroom@aol.com

Today, Glo stands by her wishing well wishing for a big wish and prayer from Jeff Probst, past Survivor contestants and fans throughout the country. Earlier today I called Rudy Boesch’s house trying to get an interview for my Jungle Talk column at onsurvivor.com. I was unable to speak to Rudy, but I did get to talk to his daughter Patty. Patty said she thought that Rudy would probably like to have the interview with me, but not right now because timing was bad for this weekend. She said it is the Survivor Reunion weekend party for the Survivors. She also said that her mother Marge Boesch is very ill and that it wasn’t a good time. I ask her if I could post an article seeking prayer throughout the country praying for a speedy recovery for her mom. I ask her to talk to Rudy and Marge and get back to me and let me know if that was okay by them. (more…)

Episode 3 Commentary by VikingBear, 16 July 2008
In Episode 3 of Big Brother 10, Brian was evicted from the Big Brother house by a vote of 9 to 1. Jessie then became Head of Household. Other than that, not much happened.
When it’s Julie doing a live show with no safety net, we’ve learned to not expect much. She is no Jeff Probst at Tribal Council with the luxury of editing 2 hours of Tribal Council down to ten minutes. Julie is just Julie, bless her heart. That said, we had some very interesting hints come our way this evening. (more…)

Commentary by VikingBear, 16 July 2008
Big Brother 10 just might be shaping into one of the best seasons in years. After just two episodes, more than half the house is already playing the game. Only the All Stars season had this much action this early… and I expect this season may be far better than All Stars.
What’s making this such a great season? What can we expect in the near future? (more…)

Can this really be the 10th season of Big Brother? Have I actually spent 8 summers and one really bad winter fill in show, watching this train wreck? Of course I have! and loved (almost) every minute!
This year looks a bit more promising… although almost any cast at all would be better than the last one. At least they are not all cookie-cutter 20-somethings that want to be models, actors, or famous for stripping, screwing, or being seriously stupid on national TV. ..not yet anyway!
There may be hope for some of this season’s cast, at least most of them do seem to know what the game’s about, if not how to actually play. And… a bonus! not a single woman under the age of 28! Can this really be Big Brother??? (more…)
