Big Brother 7 All Stars: Time For The Floaters To Stop Floating

Strategy commentary by VikingBear

Today on Big Brother All Stars, we completed the Nomination Ceremony. Erika chose to not use her Power of Veto.

This means the Season Six alliance continues to roll along unchecked. This also means that Will and Boogie remain safe. This means either Diane or Nakomis will be evicted this week.

We know that Kaysar has a master plan. They talk about it every evening. It’s a good plan with a strong campaign laid out. Does it have weaknesses? Are there ways to beat it? Sure!

Can Will and… Boogie beat Kaysar’s campaign? Certainly. Read about a possible Will and Boogie strategy here. Can Diane and Nakomis beat Kaysar’s campaign? Yes… but they lost their chance to keep both in the game. Neither convinced Erika to use the veto. So far as I can tell, neither even tried. What’s up with that???

In my first article of the season, I explained that I’d been concerned that this All Stars season would be a flop for the same reasons that Survivor All Stars wasn’t as great as it might have been. Most of the All Star Survivors just didn’t have the same hunger they did the first time around. They already had their fame, and in several cases, cash. They just didn’t push as hard as they might have. It was also, to be sure, more hot and strenuous than previous seasons.

Are we seeing the same with Big Brother All Stars? Marcellas’ whining is flat unbelievable. He does housecalls every season. He knows the ropes… what, pray tell, did he expect? Something easier than the average season? Yes, it would seem that he did!

Are we doomed to a boring season of endless whining and obnoxious partying? Well, yes, we might be. Meanwhile, though, there’s still a prize to be won. Kaysar’s playing a great game, and so I’m here wondering if there’s a way to beat Season Six.

Yes, there certainly is! Today’s Nomination Ceremony might have been just the thing!

If you were a floater, how would you be feeling about things right now? What if you happened to notice that Season Six is leaving Will and Boogie alone, and you’ve heard the rumor that Will and Boogie cut a deal with Season Six? Isn’t it pretty obvious now that the floaters will be squeezed one by one?

After this week’s eviction there will be six floaters and six non-floaters (two Chill Town plus four Jedi Council). Can the floaters realize it’s time to do something about their own future? Stop floating and start swimming!

I hope that this week serves as the wake up call. The floaters are being squeezed. Sure, it’s safer to keep trying to deflect the bullet… but pretty soon there won’t be anyone left!

Kaysar’s campaign is logical. Will’s strategy, if any, is based on logic. Others, particularly Janelle, can be reached on an emotional level. We have a wide range of players. Players, it’s time to play!
