Overnight in the Big Brother 7 All Stars house, Erika has been working the crowd. She seems to be playing both sides. Erika convinced Janelle to keep Dani. But Erika’s also talking to Ali. They’re all lies. Lies, I tell you, lies!

Speaking of lies… or, since we’re talking Alison, perhaps that should read “lays…”

Yesterday evening, on the live feeds after the broadcast, Alison was pleading her case with the Six of Four. She lied to them at least twice, and they knew it. This cute little interlude seems to have increased Ali’s chances of surviving the vote. Caught in a lie? What a cool strategy!

Come to think of it, that may be the great distinction between the All Stars season and past seasons. Last time, Alison managed to lay her way to the final two. This season, she just might lie her way ahead. The Grammar Police could have fun with this! “Ali” is no longer short for “Alley cat.” It’s short for “A lie.”

How is getting caught lying a strategy? The Six of Four then began to realize that Dani is more dangerous than Ali. Ali’s own mouth will get her evicted soon enough. Dani, on the other hand, could be very difficult to remove later.

Also on the live feeds, Chicken George went back on his word to keep Dani. He found out that Danielle and Kaysar know each other outside the house. He felt she lied to him by not telling him this. So, naturally, Danielle’s new purpose in life is to throw George out.

We have a house divided. Both sides think they have enough votes for eviction. I wouldn’t be surprised to see someone play for a tie just to see what would happen.

Marcellas sold out his vote to Janelle. She promised him she’d protect him over Howie, Kaysar, and James if he would vote to get Ali out. Marcellas’ major contribution this week seems to be whining. Janie promised Marcellas she’d take him along with her as long as she’s in the house. He bought it!

Boogie flashed the camera when he got out of the shower. If you missed it, you missed nothing.

Howie went on another of his Nakomis rants in front of Erika and she looked totally disgusted with him. I’m reminded of Survivor Shane during the first two weeks of detox. Unpredictably bipolar psychotic.

Eviction

I personally think Alison will survive eviction this week. I think Ali provides a stronger lever to the other house guests. A good player could use the animosity between Ali and Janelle in several different ways, whereas Dani would be more difficult to manipulate. Ali, when her time comes, could more likely be prodded into her own mouth getting her into trouble.

Both Alison and Danielle lasted the entire season of Big Brother. Neither has ever been evicted - they both made it to the final two. Remember, though, this isn’t a regular season. From the point of view of the best players among the All Stars, Danielle is the more dangerous of the two. Ali provides a bigger lever to use in future weeks. Save Alison now, and carefully groom her for use weeks from now.
